The files show which denominations were delivered from St. Petersburg to the the Finnish General Post Office in Helsinki, but not which issue and size of the covers that were delivered. Delivery dates below are date for delivery from St. Petersburg to Finnish GPO - not the date of sale at Finnish postoffices. Sizes vary 1-2 mm

Any Russian postal cover - denomination or size - valid in Russia may be found used in Finland.


Russian 7 kop postal stationary cover, size 145 x 120mm, with straight flap, sold in Finland from 1907.
The cover is uprated with 7 kop stamp and sent from Mikkeli (S:t. Michel) in July 1913 to Viipuri.


Russian 10 kop postal stationary cover sent from Nikolaistad 26.IV.1901 to Sweden. An invallidated 2 pen Arms type added as a political protest.


Russian 10 kop postal stationary cover uprated with 10 kop to forign rate, sent from Turku 9.I.1918 to Quedlinburg. The cover has both Finnish and German censortapes.


Russian 14 kop postal stationary cover uprated with 7 kop Romanoff stamp to forign rate for registered cover (over-rated 1 kop). Cover was sent from Helsinki Railwaystation 15.VIII.17 to Copenhagen and passed the Helsinki censorship office.


Russian 3/5kop postal stationary cover size 145 x 81 mm with straight flap (Michel U43A). The cover is uprated with a 4 kop ring-type stamp and has travelled per H:FORS-St.P:BURG railway to Helsinki 11.XII.09. This cover has not been sold in Finland and not listed as used.
